Jambo rafike that means hello in Tanzanian. Last week we did an assembly on Tanzania and we all had a part. Class H played a Tanznian class from the Dogodogo center. Tiger Fawley was the head teacher. Some people were tourists and others were tour guides. Tanzania has a lot of sight seeing places and Lake Victoria is one of them. It is a very famous place. Also Killimanjaro is one of them. It is 5895m height. Tanzania is a very hard place to get food and water, people have to travel a long way to get to school or work. Some people don't have jobs and go hunting for food. Ugaly is a type of porrige. Its nice with sugar if you can get it.
This week we are doing tests. The year six's have to do there sats and that will show what sets they will be in high school. Everybody around school are doing tests. Some people find the tests hard and some don't.
We are learning about plants and we get to grow our own beans and sunflowers. But we are not allowed to use soil instead we used a paper towel and some news paper. It works quite well.
